Colour Q & Stampin' 411

Finally back at it. It has been a few days seen I have seen my craft room. So much to do and never enough time. I was inspired today by Colour Q's challenge #84 and Stampin' 411's sketch #202. I've used alot of Daffodil Delight and Old Olive lately but it was refreshing to pull out a colour like Not Quite Navy. I had to substitute Very Vanilla for Whisper White. I hate it when I run out of a colour like white. How do I let that happen???I had fun with the masking technique today. I punched out a bunch of circles and put them on my dsp with dotto and then brayered over them. Love the effect. I'll be trying this again soon with some other shapes.
Then there are these fun flowers. I can't seem to ever put a flower on a page without layering it and this Floral Fusion Sizzlit sure did the trick. I sponged the tips and sponged a little Old Olive in the middle of the flowers and placed a few Basic Pearls in the middle. Once I had all the flowers placed I added some Crystal Effects to the top layer.

When I was ready to put the layers together I decided I needed to add a little something to the bottom layer. So...I embossed 2 corners using the Elegant Bouquet Folder and then sponged them to bring out the impression.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a splendid week!
