Flight of The Butterfly

I revisited my card from swaps on Monday. I was not happy with them but did not give myself the time to play a little more and get it right. Well now I had the time to do it and I'm quite pleased with the results and wanted to share it. I am really starting to like the new soft suede almost as much as I love the new Rich Razzleberry colour.

I Love This Job!

I love this job. I really do. And you will hear it from any demonstrator you talk to that they love their job too. It's great people having fun together doing something that they all love. So on Monday that is just what we did. A group of us got to meet one of the many wonderful women from our upline. We receive support from her via email and now we got to meet her in person ( she lives in Red Deer, Alberta). She taught us a new technique called coloured letterpress. Here is a photo of the card we made with her and then 2 more cards I made on my own using the same technique that I tried out here at home. Every card I make has at least 2 versions of it. I find that you perfect your card with every version. It is like finding the perfect accessories for an outfit.

Sorry about the format of some of my posts. I'm still learning to use this program.

More Shaker Cards

Wow! These are fun. This time instead of the clear micro beads, I used the pink glass beads from the pink duo beads from the catalogue. The paper is called Tea Party and the stamp set is The More The Merrier. Fun cards for a girl of any age.

Shaker Cards

These are the neatest cards and I'm seeing them everywhere. They are called shaker cards because when you move them they rattle. It's like shaking a maraca. The beads inside actually are free to move inside the window, so they make noise. I've started with a simple card but I've got the next one brewing in my head, so check back to see more.

Finding a Good Replacement

Seeing Spots is another set I was sad to see be retired. However I found a great replacement. It is called Circle Circus and you can find it in the 2009-2010 catalogue. I can already tell I am going to have fun with this set. I also used All Holidays for these cards. This is another great set to have around. It comes in handy for any card. I don't know what I used to use before I had it.
